I thought this would be a good investment but I underestimated how great an idea it was. Before I even used it I laminated the chart (picture #1) and posted where I do all my grilling. It's made it soooo much easier to prepare food the way people want it. The ONLY PROBLEM I've had with the tool is one time I must have pushed the F/C button and switched the device to Celsius mode by mistake. I couldn't understand why the food was taking so long to reach the Fahrenheit temperature. That's when I noticed the display was giving me a Celsius reading not a Fahrenheit reading. I quickly changed it back and sure enough the food was done luckily not too much more than I wanted. I keep the device in its original box (picture #2) on the shelf next to the chart. Needless to say, I use it every time I use the grill. My sister-in-law even used it to monitor the holiday turkey she cooked for us. I love it so much I just recently purchased a second backup device in case this one wears out.Makes grilling meat on the barbecue easy. I have ordered another one to put in my motorhome.Works great and great quality.Briskets, prime ribSomewhat satisfied. I wish the probe was longer as the heat from the grill burns my hand when using it. I wish the Fahrenheit/Celsius button was in a different place as I tend to inadvertently push it while using this thermometerI love this meat thermometer because it’s easy to store, easy to read and it’s fast.Forgot & left outside in the rain , still working ?Fast accurate very easy to use. I ordered a second one to keep in the rv .
