I love this adorable chopper. Even if the chopper breaks, I will keep it as long as the machine works to peel garlic. I use a lot of garlic and have tried many different methods to ease the pain of peeling them. With this one, in about 10 seconds It can peel two bulbs of garlic. Some get damaged by the powerful rubber spinner, but that's to be expected. The metal chopper is also good so far. I used it to chop meat and tomatoes (separately) and it worked well. However, this machine is NOT to be used for a large amount of meat(1/4 lb max) or a long period of chopping time. I pulsed as I monitor meat and the machine. I have no problems. So far, I'm satisfied.Update: I looked again and the doodad is a garlic peeler.I bought this small processor to chop up things that my Cuisinart won’t. It doesn’t do small batchesI expected, and all the literature indicates, it comes with double blades. And it did come with double blades but it also came with that doodad you see on the left in the photo. All the protruberances are quite flexible while seeming sturdy. There is no reference to this thing on the box or in the user guide. I’ve not tried the machine yet but am looking forward to using it.Muy buen producto. It was used on a daily basis to chop ice. Unfortunately the glass broke one day. I guess repeated ice chopping is not a good idea! I wish I could get a replacement. I have tried the warranty info and website for Mosaic-Kitchen and all is a dead end. Help?Great little chopper!! It handles large jobs well! Very happy with this purchase.Having been frustrated by the tediousness of peeling garlic, I bought this machine SPECIFICALLY for that purpose. It's not a professional garlic peeler, meaning, it doesn't get rid of the garlic peels automatically. You have to pick through the mess and pull out the peels.However, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, I managed to peel ALL of the garlic cloves in my terracotta garlic holder. So this machine doesn't completely eliminate the chore of peeling garlic. But if you put in the effort, you will achieve MUCH better results than you could by hand.Used to chop fresh herbs.
